There is nothing I love more than receiving a message that says ‘can you make something special for me’!
So I start with a blank page….(and card 🙂 ) colour, design, inspiration, the world’s your oyster and I can create anything with a brief, to allow you to send that specially unique sentiment to someone.
This week has very much been about Custom Orders and it’s been a lot of fun, with some fantastic feedback too! Anniversaries and birthdays, to name a couple, with some very specific requests, so no two cards made will ever be the same, that’s the fun part. 🙂
Whether you have a very specific idea or just a vague notion of what you need, just ask! Drafting ideas to send out and finally looking at the finished item is always rewarding and ultimately having happy customers that return again for something else is the best feeling as a crafter!
Have a great weekend!
The importance of providing options for your customers, I think, is very important and recently I have been asked about larger card sizes. I have said before that taking on board feedback and having the flexibility to adapt and provide (as much as I can) the product that customers would like to see and buy, is key. So I have been looking into this in order to make these available in the store. There will soon be options for most of the current cards, to select a larger size, along with new ones moving forwards!
This week, I have added some new items to the store….. some for the men in your lives and some for the ladies! These have colour options and as always, personalised greetings, all available to select on ordering. I hope you like them 🙂
For those of you who have Mother’s Day still to come, there is a range of cards still available to buy. So please check those out!
Father’s Day cards will be available online soon, so keep an eye out for those too.
Have a great weekend!
Everyone loves some time away doing something fun, don’t they! When you have an online craft store, and it’s “always open”, being available for my customers is essential.
Today, with smartphones and tablets its easy to remain accessible to customers and stay in touch with my store to maximise all my opportunities, even when I’m not at home in the studio! It really is all there at your fingertips. I can access everything I need to message, confirm orders, promote and make sure that there is no down time. Wherever my phone goes, so does my store!
Social media is the perfect way to display a product and promote craft at no cost. Mobile technology allows me to to this wherever I am, whatever I am doing, and it’s fun! I love apps that allow me to customise pictures and photos to add online, whether that be on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and the store Blog.
I have recently been working on some Father’s Day cards ready for June, and these will be added instore very soon.
I hope you all have a great weekend, I will be 🙂 …. and as always the store will be open!
So with another week nearly over and looking to get the final orders for this week out in the post, I came to realise that Father’s Day is not too far off. So over the next few weeks, I will be looking at some designs for cards to celebrate the occasion.
In the meantime, there are a couple of new cards in store for you this week! Inspired by some fantastic feedback regarding the floral bouquet card, which was proving very popular with customers for Mother’s Day, I decided to add a similar one for birthdays. This version has a heart embossed background with a 3D bouquet, tied with a ribbon bow and coordinated banner. This can be personalised with your greeting. (There are a few bow/banner colour choices to select from.) I love the look of this card, so crisp and bright, I hope you do too!
I have also recently had a few custom requests for another Star Wars card with Darth Vader on, so again I decided to add something to the stock available in store! There are two ‘Dark Side’ designs to choose from, the classic helmet and a silhouette style card:
As always both can be personalised with a greeting of your choice. 🙂
So have a great weekend and see you all next week!
